Hi everyone using this forum.

I haven't posted on here for a while as I have been busy trying to survive my PhD transfer. I have managed this and I am half way towards my doctorate.

If I am honest with myself I have been 'stuggling ' with my dyslexia, but I am coping.

Tenacity

Deligation

curiostiy

and sheer bloody mindness have kept me going.

Thats great news Lanky!! Glad you are getting there. It may be hard but I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end.

Haven't got the delegation bit, but the other attributes are me too - especially the sheer bloody mindedness bit.
I wonder if these things are inherently linked to dyslexia or whether they are something we develop due to the problems we experience through life.

Good luck LakyT, it's great to hear things you are progressing well even if you've struggled a bit along the way. Just remember, the hard you are finding something at the moment the more of an achievement it will be when you finally reach your goal!
